The U.S. Open (United States Open Championships) is the open golf tournament that’s held annually and this year it’s held at Torrey Pines in La Jolla . This is one of the major golf championships in the U.S.  Champion week is June 9th to the 15th.

It is really refreshing to take a date on a fun and romantic evening! We just started a new promotion where you can go on a sunset tour on our 56’ Yacht and experience  exclusive wine tasting at the same time. We are hearing from our clients lately that finding a unique outdoor activity in San Diego is hard to find, so we are offering a night of luxury and spirits for only $199 per person. All you have do is meet at the Sheraton Marina downtown (by the airport) around 4:45 pm and then take off on a 2 hour tour that will include the sunset and some of the best wine in the world! There will also be light snacks aboard (cheese, crackers and fruits). This would also be a great way to entertain a large group of people in town, or a fun way to through a bachelor/bachelorette party! I think whatever the occasion; by the time you dock (around 6 pm) you will be very satisfied with the tour. It is a very rare occasion to see a Lamborghini Diablo drive by you on the streets of San Diego, but I can honestly say that driving down the 163 North,  I saw a “phantom Diablo” come out nowhere. It was a late Friday night and I was coming from downtown, and all of the sudden I spotted this rare “batmobile look-a-like” zoom right past me. I could barely keep up with it, but it took my breath away. I mean, any day of the week you can go into Symbolic Motors and hope to catch a glimpse of this amazing car, but it feels un-real to see it in its natural element, the freeway! The streets were completely open, probably the main reason why this person was actually opening the car up to the outside world, but regardless it felt like I was let into a special part of someone’s life. Almost like we saw a secret. This is why we have such fascinations with cars, they are so unique and unpredictable from the sounds they make to the places they are driven. I couldn’t get a look at the person driving this “phantom Diablo”, the windows were completely blacked out (not to mention the wheels), but one can hope to see this awesome display of craftsmanship will be back again very soon.

Finally! For so long, my customers have been asking for a program that will give them whatever car they want year around, but with the same perks that they have been getting there daily rentals (basically, very little commitment). The Annual VIP Frequent Renter Program is something that others have tried to do in the past with their companies, but it hasn’t work to their liking because their fleet is either too small or not up the standards of there clientèle. So it seems pretty cut and dry, plus you never have to pay for registration, maintenance or insurance. Plus the thing I really like about this program is that you don’t have to commit to one car year around, I like to change it up from time to time, and this gives me the flexibility to choose the car that fits into my month. It works for you instead of against you. Match made in heaven!
